So you're a rich, white guy running for president. You're intolerant of homosexuals (all of a sudden), abortion rights (because you were 'wrong'), and you belong to a religion that was explicitly racist until roughly 30 years ago. The only thing that sets you apart from other douchebag CEOs on the golf course is that you're wearing Mormon underwear. You are only a minority in one respect, and you've become an advocate for it, while dismissing the advocacy of any other kind of tolerance.
The fact is, if Mormonism were the main stream religion in this country, you'd totally be hatin' on evangelicals. So why shouldn't they reserve their love for... Mike Huckabee? Rolling Stone's favorite right-wing nut job?
